Welcome to the Brentwood RGT website. We are based at Ashwells Greyhound Kennels in Pilgrims Hatch, Brentwood. We've currently got about 45 dogs seeking loving homes: images and information about some of those currently available are displayed in the scrolling list on the right.   We have other dogs not shown here aged between 2 and 10 years old.  All our dogs are neutered and vaccinated.

Kennel opening hours0930 - 1230 every day.  Afternoon visits by appointment only.

Click here for a map to see where we are.  The kennels are in the field behind Suffolk House.

TRIGGER urgently needs a loving home:  please read about him in the scrolling list on the right.
Not sure if a greyhound would suit your lifestyle?  Read on:

A greyhound's racing life is a short one - most are retired by the time they are just 3 or 4 years old, some at an even younger age due to injury - which is why so many of this remarkable breed need our help.

Contrary to popular belief, they don't need vast amounts of exercise: they are sprinters, not marathon runners, perfectly happy with a couple of 20 minute walks a day - though these gentle and affectionate animals will happily trot alongside you for as long as you ask them to do so.

If you'd like to find out more about adopting a greyhound, or would like arrange to meet any of our dogs, please do call us on 01277 373799, or send us an email via the Contact Page of this site.
